Christine Graves - Doula

 Hello! I'm Chris, I am a certified birth and postpartum doula, as well as a certified lactation counselor. For over two decades, I served as the Director of Children and Family Ministries at a local church, where I had the privilege of supporting hundreds of families through various seasons of life. My work has always been grounded in a strong foundation of faith and spirituality, which continues to bring me both purpose and joy. 

In addition, I am a former professional sign language interpreter and am passionate about providing inclusive, informed care to the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community throughout the birth experience.

I’m also a mother to four grown children. During their upbringing, our home became a trusted space not just for them, but for their friends as well—offering a place to rest, recharge, or simply feel heard. That spirit of openness and compassion continues to shape the way I support others today.

Now based in Glassboro, NJ, my husband and I enjoy caring for a small collection of animals—including chickens, cats, and goats—as part of our next chapter together.

At my core, I am called to nurture and care for others. Long before becoming a certified doula, I found myself offering the same calm, supportive presence that defines this work—meeting people where they are and holding space with compassion and grace.
